Baby Yoga 1

This class is designed to foster the emotional connection between baby and parent/caregiver.  A good sign that baby is ready for class (6-8 weeks and on) is when they are smiling and/or clearly recognizing faces.  Class activities will include centering/grounding, poses focused on digestion, arm and leg movement, tummy time, high energy (bouncing/standing) poses, circle and community time, and will also include some movement for adults, ending with massage for baby, and a few quiet moments for rest and bonding.  Class will be 45-60 minutes in length.  Please bring a yoga mat, extra blanket for your baby to lie/sit on, and a small toy.  Dress yourself comfortably for movement.

Class is structured to flow together while incorporating movement, music, and interaction with parent and others in class. Starting with a centering activity and warm-up, we move into a circle activity, then move around the room before working on all fours and bellies. Games and creative movement area highlight before a final circle activity and a short relaxation time to finish class. (Crawler - 2 yr)

Restorative Yoga

A 60-minute class which begins with 40-minutes of gentle, meditative practice that uses props to fully support the body in each pose. This allows the body to completely relax, revitalize and restore energy as well as release tension. Restorative yoga is beneficial for yoga students at any level needing a gentler yoga experience. The final 20 minutes include a guided meditation in the restorative class.
